Painted Flowers and Pop Art...
I finally got a chance to go over my shots from my visit with Alyse to the Tulip Festival. I was pleasantly surprised by some of my shots, and feeling artistic or nostalgic or whatever, I decided to create some new art prints for sale. For the first few, all I did was some fun cropping and a tiny darkening of the entire picture... they were fun for me because, having taken art for so many years, they looked like they had been oil painted. Then I decided to get really freaky and try out my memories of Pop Art, and then, there are the obligatory regular pictures, as you will see below. Enjoy!
So It's official, I've dared to venture into the world of blogging. At this point, I am not sure what twists and turns this blog may take, but hopefully it will appease those of my friends who keep requesting I create a space of my own. So here goes, welcome to my world. Along the way you may find that my world is a painting that uses all colors from the artist's palette. What is beautiful to one may be offensive to another, but I do not apologize, because my life is MY masterpiece. It takes both light and dark to make the most stunning pictures.
What an intuitive man Walt Disney was when he said, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
And with that, I welcome you again into my world...

These are really great! I'm truly impressed!
Beautiful Meghan!
Ooh, pretty! I think my favorite is the closed-up tulip.
Oh, you can so easily tell when a photographer is talented and having fun!
My favorite is the second one. The petals are so soft they look like overlapping fairy wings.
